I choose to teach only small groups of teachers in my Yoga for Menopause Well-being course because it allows us to follow a daily routine (dinacharya) that supports women at this stage of life and vata dosha.

The joy of resting after a busy morning and lunch. We wind down from 2.00 pm with a slower paced afternoon starting with a menopause themed Yoga Nidra.

On the first day in our afternoon Wise Women circle, we delve into our relationship with rest and self-care through our menopause transformation.

When was the last time you felt deeply rested?

What is your relationship to rest?

And when you are well rested, what changes?

Belonging to yourself and no body else is the promise of menopause.

You`ve been on quite a journey to mature and become yourself. Menopause`s mission is to deliver you into the safe harbour within yourself to be yourself. It`s a journey within and the arrival in this sacred temple brings the experience of love and compassion.

It`s a spiritual reunion. The destination has always one of deep belonging; to come into an intimate belonging with the soul of the world is the gift from all those years of bleeding.

Belonging is that sweet sense of being able to comfortable in your own skin, to be your fabulous weird self and know others who have passed through the portal will see you and understand you.
